After the WORST recession since The Great Depression, you simply cannot sell a man of immense wealth to the American voters. And the top 1% do NOT constitute enough votes to elect him! While there are no poor politicians, Romney is in a totally different league where money is concerned. Too many Americans suffered too much. Some lost everything. Yet, they watched Wall Street get a bailout & CEOs keep their jobs/bonuses. Romney, to them, is nothing but a brutal reminder!

Travis18352 ... No, I didn't say that. I don't know if America is ready for a female President. I don't know if Hillary would be that female. Personally, I wouldn't vote for a candidate just because she's a woman. I don't think the female vote is monolithic, either. If it were, McCain & Palin would've won in '08. Financially, the Clintons AREN'T in Romney's league. Granted, they aren't Middle Class. But Mitt is wealthy among the wealthy. If voters are going to relate anything to Hillary Clinton, it will be: a) Bill was a skirt-chasing hound dog; b) the country DID financially prosper during his Presidency. And after the worst recession since the Great Depression, it's (b) that will really be enticing.
