  • A stork dropped it off, why would I not tell anybody the truth about the stork?

  • It's a stork right? :) jk

  • There is no adequate reason to lie to someone about how children are born.

  • Parents lie to their children all the time and then expect them to be honest to them later in life. I much rather prefer to have kids that trust me, and who I can trust.

  • They will know it by themself at the time of puberty

  • Absolutely. If they are old enough to ask, they're old enough to know. I'd rather they have accurate answers then hear from classmates some misleading stories.

Well... My son turned five recently, and has a good understanding of where he came from. He knows it was mommy and daddy that made him. He knows he 'lived' in mommy's tummy for a long time. He knows he was born. That is enough for now, but I have no interest in infantilizing any part of birth, sexuality or anything else for him. If he want to know more, I will tell him more.

Not if they're too young to know. But when they're the right age, then I'll tell them.
