Without looking up the definition. Do you associate the word idiot with willfully ignorant or mentally disabled?

Your pictures of the mentally-disabled are highly imaginative. Thanks for that.
Of course, there is not option for both. Furthermore, although many people are comfortable insulting people's intelligence levels, they rarely think about the implications towards persons with intelligence-related mental handicaps.
You cheated on the poll, but alright. :P
She did cheat, but she's been looking at definitions all day.
Kbub gave me cause to reflect on this.
Reported for an image that is hurtful or insulting to other members.
That's idiotic. The image is fine. You can't say otherwise without making a comment offensive to the mentally handicapped.
Seriously, what picture could I put there without offending somebody.
Would you be happy if I used a pic of you to represent the mentally disabled on the public internet?
Saying that I think I did in my last poll sry jk I'm just as bad as I've used a similar image to represent certain Christians, that might ebven be worse lol.
I honestly wouldn't mind if you made me the face of herpes.
Presumably you don't actually have herpes though?
True, but statistically speaking I probably have HPV.
It's not about what the dictionary says... It's about how you associate the words. Would you ever tell a mentally retarded person that their an idiot?
Pretty sure it's more than just choosing not to learn things.
Dictionary.com: Idiot: 2. Psychology . (no longer in technical use; considered offensive) a person of the lowest order in a former and discarded classification of mental retardation, having a mental age of less than three years old and an intelligence quotient under 25.
Being willfully ignorant is foolish. An idiot is too dumb (or mentally disabled) to understand what you're saying or how they are wrong.
