  • If I'm robbing a banker, politician or Walmart's CEO, I'd do it. But if it was a human that wasn't a raging immoral greedy sociopath that I was robbing, no.

  • It depends. I would rob thugs, and people of that nature for money. I wouldn't rob a person who works for a living(average Joe).

  • I probably would end up robbing someone, under some kind of justification.

  • Money is money.

  • Like discomforting, I would only do it if the person was a despicable human being.

  • hell yea youd get ma money and you wont get caught

  • It is morally wrong and if you need money there are jobs out there (it is a liberal myth that there aren't.)

  • Stealing is stealing. Most wealthy people have worked hard for their money. You would steal from a person just because they worked harder then someone else? I love how discomfiting writes a politician, banker, or walmarts CEO what is that suppose to mean? My dad's a banker, you would steal from me? Wow that is not the warm DDO welcome I thought I would have when not even being a user for a month. They work hard for their money, just like everyone else. They just went to school longer. A teacher could have became a politician, but the teacher chose to teach. You can't say you would steal from someone because of there career choice, that they chose to make themselves happy.

  • It's wrong, whether you get caught or not has nothing to do with it.

  • "Character is doing the right thing when nobody's looking. There are too many people who think that the only thing that's right is to get by, and the only thing that's wrong is to get caught." -- J.C. Watts

  • It's morally wrong.

It depends on who I'm stealing from, and what I'm stealing. If it's someone who won't be hurt, sure. If it's a small business, or I'm taking something very valuable to someone, no.

Steal a small package of gum and life in prison. That's true in a certain country. . . Gum is illegal there, I just forget which one.

Wow, great poll. An actual moral dillemma that can't be decided objectively!

It's sick to steal from someone because of the amount of money they have. Maybe I could see stealing if you had a choice to steal or let your family starve to death, (generally) otherwise it's sick.

@FIZBO: I agree. I wouldn't steal from people who work for their money(average Joe). Just the people who are thugs, gangbangers, and other trouble makers.

Looks like we're proving Machiavelli right.

Wow I seriously feel bad for you, because you must know just about no people with money to believe that. Yes, I know people who have stolen money to become wealthy. Yet many of them haven't, it's not as hard as you may think to become "rich". Btw cursing makes you sound trashy and uneducated because your vocabulary is so limited that you need or feel the need to curse.

I steal for the simple act of stealing. It gives me a bit of a rush to get that one candy bar I want without paying.
