It depends whether my country is fighting for the right reason, if they needed to fight, if they are not causing any unreasonable harm in any way, if they are not targeting the civilians but only the military, if the country isn't letting the soldiers to do any harm in any way towards any civilians and if they aren't allowed to do any form of unreasonable harm towards the enemy's military.
And you also said you would not go. If it reached my country (which is ludicrously unlikely, NZ has never been attacked except for one singular ship, over a financial issue for the French. We're far too isolated for us to get attacked any time soon.) I wouldn't be a help to the war, since I'm physically weak, it would betray my moral code, and I'd almost certainly die sooner and in a far more painful way (at least bombing would be quick.)
I only said I wouldn't go for the sheer fact that it turns out i'd be bleeding for people who think like you. Then I come back and they've been behind the lines warping the whole social structure while I've been away, in the name of what I've been fighting for, and do nothing but criticize me for having been out there at all. So they win, ill sit this next one out and let them be the ones to handle it. I wish less people would volunteer and more drafting was going on. It'd be great to see more of these people who want to sit it out (but benefit off of the fight) to actually have to go out and earn something. It sucks to see all the good ones have to be the ones to step forward and sacrifice.
