No problem. In olden days in the US, learning all the states and their capitals was part of grade school. In 4th grade we had to learn the provinces and major geographical features of Australia. I'm still not sure why.
I could do it and about half of the capitals. (Just not the abbreviations.)
I'm not American. They don't teach it at school here. I might be able to get a few names- no chance if it's about matching state name to a place.

From the UK, can get only 16 straight off.
