The bounds are not well set. Saying "equal" on socialist level still leaves plenty of room for differences in intellect, talent etc.
Since people are referencing Vonnegut, if you read that it is much more about the leveling of intellect and physical aspects. That is, not "socially" equal, but hampering anyone outside the norm in those areas.
@UnitedNations25thSep We are all unequal in way, some people are poor then others, some make more due to working harder so they are not equal. Some people are born with a leg or a arm so they are unequal. My point is humanity is built on inequality removing gets rid of everything that we have worked up to this point. It would stop us from growing stronger as a society and it would only stop our progress as a race.
We are all not equal and we will never all be equal.
Depends on the definition of "equal" and what the term refers to.
