^ WWII for example. But most wars, especially those fought by the U.S. were simply unnecessary.

@briantheliberal, I agree to an extent. Most conflicts, not wars that we have been in were unnecessary. I'm ok with war as long as we go in and win them instead of endless fighting without a declaration of war. Historically, the places where we have declared war have worked out except for Vietnam.

Their were about 32 conflicts that occurred in the 2000's. Bush started 3 (Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia). 3 divided by 32 is about 9%.
