Your views on PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)

PETA is an American animal rights organization based in Norfolk, Virginia, and led by Ingrid Newkirk, its international president. A nonprofit corporation with 300 employees, it claims that it has 3 million members and supporters (5 million in total) and is the largest animal rights group in the world. Its slogan is "animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way."

They are far too extreme and dangerous to be considered a good movement. They try to use force to push a narrative and as a result are closer to a terrorist org than an actual org for change.

PETA care more about animals than they do people. They are hypocrites- they kill about 80% of the animals they take in. They are just downright extreme- I mean, advocating for the use of HUMAN milk in ice cream rather than cow's milk. If a PETA supporter spotted a human and a cow stuck on the train tracks, a train coming and only one of them could be saved, i'm pretty sure they'd save the cow. What do you think?

They have a decent message, however, they fail to see both sides of the topic and have become a radical organization who lashes out at any entity that does not fully and completely conform to their agenda.

While I agree that better treatment of animals is important and any prolonged suffering or painful violent ends should be avoided I'll agree that peta has gone too far. My greatest concern is for humans followed by other primates and moving on to more intelligent mammals that have developed basic languages, emotions and the ability to use tools etc.

PETA sounds good... until you realize the many insane things they do. Between terrorism and other illigal actions, I don't have a great impression of them. Not to mention they've kidnapped and euthanised people's pets in the past because they think that domesticated animals have been ruined... they euthanize most of the animals they "take in".

I fundamentally disagree with the cause of the organization(I do not believe in animal rights), not to mention that their actions and methods are distasteful and intrusive.

As a member if FoAFOETS (Friends of Abomination From Outside Euclidian Time-Space) I feel a certain connection with animal lovers. I do however feed live kids in both sense of the word to the aforementioned extra dimensional beings so we do disagree in some ways
