Resolved: The Unites States Federal Government should substanitally increase it's public health assistance to sub-saharan africa by purchasing food from local farmers in sub-saharan africa and giving it as aid to sub-saharan africans. currently the USFG spends millions of dollars sending food aid from the U.S. to africa in the form of food aid. however, one half of every dollar spent on food aid is spent on packaging, shipping, and administrative costs.
