About Me:I enjoy my anonymity, so I will describe what I'm about on DDO. As of Feb 2014, I've decided to try an experiment in that I will stop scoring debates for anything except conduct, and only when I think the party deserving of the conduct vote also won arguments as well. If both sides argue well with good conduct, or if there is a graceful concession, I will score neutral regardless of the results of the debate.

All Else Being the Same, a Moral Position in War is Untenable

Many people are of the opinion that there is such a thing as a "just war" or a war where a nation's moral fibre remains intact. What this debate is meant to demonstrate is either:1) The cost of moral fibre2) That if we were to ever fight an enemy whose tactical and strategic position was equal to ours, the first casualty of war will be morality. This debate is impossible to accept. If you would like to argue CON, please PM me or leave a comment. If you wish to leave an opinion about which positio...

Abel Would Have Killed Cain

ResolutionAbel Would Have Killed CainBackgroundWatching the movie Noah got me thinking about some of the Genesis stories, most of which are exceedingly brief. The story of Cain and Abel occurs over the course of 16 verses in Genesis 4 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis+4); essentially, God looked upon Abel's offering with favor and not Cain's, which drove Cain to kill Abel. The question I ask in this debate is "what if God looked upon Cain's offering with favor instead of...
